2023 - PPA publishes Odysseys & Anthems a collection of original writing from PPA artists.

2023 - Artistic Director, Rachel Tibbetts, receives the “Community Impact Artist” St. Louis Visionary Award.

2022 - The documentary Prison Performing Arts: The Voice Within becomes available to stream on including Amazon Prime, Tubi, and Peacock. It takes a deeper look at incarcerated individuals for who they are as people, not just the crimes they committed, and navigates a two-week Prison Performing Arts workshop along with inmates at Women's Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Vandalia, Missouri.

2021 - PPA is heavily featured in the book Prison Theatre and the Global Crisis of Incarceration. PPA remains the subject of numerous research projects on the efficacy of arts-in-prison rehabilitation work.
