Learning Through the Arts provides year-round performing arts classes for youth and young adults at St. Louis City Juvenile Detention Center, Hogan Street Regional Youth Center, St. Louis County Juvenile Detention Center, and Missouri Hills Youth Center. Classes for Learning Through the Arts include: Creative Writing, Dance, Theatre, Visual Art and West African Drumming all taught by a multi-talented team of teaching artists.

The Summer Showcase encourages participants at St. Louis City Juvenile Detention Center to share their learning experiences with a live audience of Family Court Staff, family members, and PPA supporters.
