arts & Healing

Launched in 2021, PPAs Arts & Healing program has served individuals completing their sentences at the Transition Center of St. Louis, a community reentry facility in North St. Louis City operated by the Missouri Department of Corrections. Program components include theatre, visual arts, and writing workshops, a culminating performance, and the opportunity to engage in the Alumni Company upon release. In 2022, we expanded the program to Missouri Eastern Correctional Center (MECC), and in 2024 expanded Arts & Healing in Probation & Parole - District 17.
